Timing belt issues 700

Hi All,

I have a few questions about a B230F timing belt job.

1 Where is the timing mark on the crankshaft , is it the crankshaft keyway?
my Chiltons and Haynes are fuzzy about this.
2. There was some weeping down onto the water pump from around the cam seal,
I'm unsure if it was from the cam seal or a pair of engine plugs just below the cam seal- do these things ever leak? I replaced all three seals
and wonder if these plugs need treatment too?
3 When installing the water pump, should I just use the rubber gaskets or
does it need silicone sealant as well, it seems there was some silicone
on the old pump.

Thanks, B.B.
