1991 240 stalling - code 1-2-1 , bad maf sensor ?? 200

Hello all, My 1991 240 has been stalling and running rough. Here are the symptoms ,I'm driving along and then the tachometer flips up and down and I have a loss of power to the gas pedal, then the car stalls. I replaced the fuel pump relay, cleaned the throttle body and idle speed motor, still have the same problem. I did retreive code 1-2-1 which is the maf sensor ,.Does anybody else have any clue to my problem?
