B23FT Exhaust Manifold - Correct Washers? 1984 760 700

I'm installing the exhaust manifold and turbo. When I removed it, there were a total of 12 washers used, six of the thick ones with "UT" on them, and six regular flat washers. What's the correct way to do this? (I have extra washers of both types from a manifold I pulled at a junkyard.) Should all 8 nuts get one of the thick washers up against the manifold, then the shroud sheet metal, then the nut? What's the correct placement for the flat washers if they are supposed to be used? Three of the cylinders have metal shrouds. Thanks for any help.
