Fuel injectors leaking 1800 1971

Hello,

I use the same technique as Chris Mullet for removing the crimp using some diagonal cutters.

Mercedes Benz sells a repair kit for the injectors, but it costs $27.00 and only repairs 2 injectors and is just 4 hose clamps and 2 pieces of high pressure fuel hose.

You CAN use any cheap hose clamp, but I strongly recommend that you use a clamp that does not have the slots cut into the band like Ideal brand hose clamps.

If you still has any of the original CORRECT style of fuel hose clamps on your car and there are quite a few including under the car at the fuel pump, you can see the style to which I refer.

This style of clamp is hard to find and if you insist you might even able to get them from Volvo or Mercedes Benz for $1.50 each.
