Road Trip 200 1980

So I took "White Lightning" from Socal to Ft. Collins, CO. Of course I happened to travel on the day that there was a heat warning for Las Vegas and area. 116 at Vegas and 127 at Death Valley. I don't have air and so it was a very uncomfortable trip. The apples I took to eat turned into no kidding baked apples. The car didn't have a problem with it and the temp gauge was at Normal the whole way. Not bad for an overloaded old car.
