hello
if the car was/is run out of gas 1 gallon wont help much as the configuration of the gas tank is made so 1 gallon probably wont get to the pump.
take care of the fuses because if you have to spin it to make it work thats not very good, remove and clean all fuse connections and a little grease on the ends will help.
one can only guess the car you are referring to is a 92 240?
