945 Center Mount Brake Light 'Fall-Down-Go-Boom' 900 1994

A long while ago, the trim cover for the center high-mount brake light was deformed by sun-generated heat (good choice of plastics, huh?) and so the light has been uncovered for years.

Now, it has simply fallen off of the tailgate trim panel and is hanging from the wiring. The bulb holder detached in the process.

Does anyone know
a) Whether its two mounting screws go in from the top (easy!) or the bottom (necessitating removal of tailgate trim panel)

and

b) What size the screws are, in case I need to put in new ones? I do not hear any loose screws inside the trim panel when I open/close the gate.

Thanks!! Happy 4th!
