Dave,

Where are you? (location is a good thing to have in your profile for this sort of thing) I have the 85amp alt out of my 92 240 sitting in the trunk. I can ship UPS ground, or take it apart and send you the brushes, etc.

The alt worked fine when I took it out - I just replaced with the 100amp alt out of a 940 for my bosch fogs and the efan (which remains a 'to-do'... sigh). I grabbed the 100 amp alt out of a dead 940, and saw another one recently. They're nice 'cause the Nippon denso 100 amp alt is smaller than the Bosch, and is a direct bolt-in.

Anyway, you want the 85amp alt, it's yours for shipping.
