Me,

Yes, unfortunately the switch mounting bracket (not the coil mounting bracket) is located in a different spot to account for differences in the dash design and key hole opening I suppose. You are correct, however, in that most of the 6V coils I have seen, do mount the same with the three-hole pattern.

If you have a source for an ignition lock/tumbler with key, please let me know.
