Volvo 740 rear shocks?

Hi, A am working on a non-Volvo project and needed some shocks. I found a spec sheet that indicated that Volvo 740 shocks, from say 1990, have a 12mm bushed eye mount on either end. I ordered some shocks for a 740 off of ebay and got shocks with an eye on the bottom and a stem fitting on the top. I was expecting something like the image below (assuming it works.)

Can anyone verify that I got the wrong parts? That would be a big help, as then I can reorder the same part and return the ones I got. The parts I got are in resealed boxes marked with the correct part number (Gabriel 69805) but someone might have done a switcheroo on the shocks in the past.

Thanks for any help,
-Joel.
