Emiisions Question (lambda sond) and Hood Alignment 200 1984

All,

I am putting the emission control system on my (new to me) 1984 244, B21FT, auto trans back together. My question is this, I have installed a new pressure switch, it was totally missing and is located on the center of the firewall, it signals the ecu to hold the frequency valve duty cycle at a fixed setting during accelleration. There is a delay valve that should attach to the pressure switch, I have a new delay valve, which way is the valve oriented one side of it is yellow and one black and it seems to move air in only one direction. Any thoughts?

Second item, the rear of the hood is about 1/4" above the fender edge, the hood closes and latches tightly. Is this a bent hood or an alignment issue, and how do I correct it? As always thanks for any input.
Thanks,
JD
