I posted a question about brakes a few days ago, and someone responded; but now I am unable to read the message I posted ("Still having brake problems")or the reply. I know the other day I tried to access the board and it was completely inaccessible for some reason. Did some messages get wiped out?

In the meantime, the problem is a "soft" brake pedal. After further testing, it appears the pedal is just "soft", but the brakes stop the car, there is no leakage, and while stepping on the pedal while stopped, it doesn't continue to go down to the floor; if I release it fully, it has the same "soft" feel; if I release it only part way and re-press, it is "softer"--is there some adjustment that can be made to return the quicker action on the pedal?
