GCP 140-160

An older issue of "Rolling" announced that Volvo cars would stop making spares for the older cars, explained that Volvo entered into an agreement with GCP to make vintage parts available through the dealer. That was about 8-10 years ago so I'm not sure if it is up to date, but I had no issues ordering a new windshield for my 122S back in summer '05. So the dealer is still an option.

I could be wrong, but Veteranprodukter has a US storefront for GCP parts. I'm sure that they have a storefront for vintage reproduction parts, but I could be wrong about the GCP affiliation. Either way, you *could* order from a stateside store and get the same thing. see http://www.vp-autoparts.com. I strongly suspect that SwedishTreasures.com and VLVWorld.com get parts through these guys - that, or the prices and merchandise are very coincident...

Myself, I'd be curious about ordering from CVI parts... They have some nice upgrades and repair kits...

So... overall. No, I've no experience in overseas ordering. Phil Singher has for sure and some others I suspect...
