the gear selector rod shifted anti-clockwise (away from neutral safety switch) 200 1991

I have 91 VOLVO 240 and,
I hit a tree with 40 miles speed, the gear selector rod shifted anti-clockwise (away from neutral safety switch). when I change gear from park to any gear, the knob on neutral safety switch does not move stays only on park because there is a little gap between the knob attached to shifter rod and neutral safety switch.
The right motor mount was crushed. I paid $300 to auto shop to change 2 motor mounts and 1 transmission mount. Still problems remaind. He wanna to rip me off. I wanna to fix by myself.

Now engine makes lot of funny noises, when I go with 20 speed seems like engine bouncing in perpendicular direction to the moving direction of car. I m scared. At 40 speed, the stearing wheel shakes.

Please give me genuine suggetions to look into.

Thanks

Anil
