How do you carry your canoe?

I found an old set of gutter clamp roof racks that I have used to carry a 14' jon boat on my 245 and then my 945. they were made to be adjustable for width so once I had them set to the right width I attatched a 1x4 board with side blocks to keep the boat from moving side to side. Also kept the gunnels of the boat from getting scraped-up. Secure the rack to the rain gutters, and use a couple ratcheting tie-down straps to secure the boat to the racks, then a tie-down strap front and rear from the boat to the factory tow hooks on each end. The boat rode very solid up there. Be prepared for alot of additional wind noise at highway speeds.
