Found object! (anyone seen one of these?) 444-544 1958

Hi All:
Below (hopefully) are two photos of one of the things I found while cleaning out the trunk of my 'new' 444. It appears to be a "Lug Wrench" for the car (fits the nuts) and has a racheting function. This works by flipping the spring loaded gizmo (green arrow) 180 degrees to loosen or tighten.
It is well designed to keep knuckles away from the tire/rim and has a "tire iron" on the other end.
Were these part of the standard tool kits for the 444? I have never seen one before!

.
.

Quite a few other mysterious items that may or may not be tools that came with the car yet to be cleaned up.

Cheers!
OK
