US 940 headlight adjuster lubricant 900

Hello. Does anyone out there have a suggestion for lubricant for the headlight adjusters? I have the entire assembly out and the shaft where it attaches to the head light is "stuck". The bevel gears work fine. The back of the adjuster shaft (square part) rotates. The threaded part of the shaft that passes through the backing plate rotates, Only the "ball joint" end of the shaft where is attaches to the head light assembly is "stuck".
Any Ideas ?
