Wrong plugs on my 940T

Recently got a 940. It's a little rough at idle, I'm finally getting around to the tune-up.

First clue that something was off was that the 13/16 socket was not spinning the old plugs. I was able to remove a plug with a smaller socket (#2?, 2nd from timing belt) and I assume the others are the same. I've confirmed proper new plug ID (the ones I bought were right) via internet (NGK BPR6ES - stock #7131). This website confirms this match. The plug I pulled from the head was a Champion RC12YC.

The plug reluctantly came out of the hole (typical I assume). Old plug's threads seem to be OK. New one went in OK (after a back-thread or two).

Do I concern myself with this? (who knows what other stuff was mis-installed) I assume a correct plug match means that the socket to remove the plug is OEM. Old plug appears to have a wider gap. Are there things I should look at to correct the problems this could have created.

Thanks for any insight, Howard
