Putting Stock 240 Alloy Wheels on my 92 740 - Spacers needed on Front-HELP 700 1992

Since a deep 19mm socket has no problem fitting down into the recess, I see no reason not to use the regular lug nuts that were on the car. For some reason, I had thought that the taper was different for Virgos. A quick double check yesterday while doing brake work showed that the tapers are the same. The only problem with using these nuts is that the end of the stud is exposed to the elements. If you live in an area that gets snow, the lug nuts crud up pretty quick. One the Aries, of course, the lugs are protected by the center-cap.

Now that the automotive industry has gone metric, it seems wrong to call the inch/lb system "SAE." "Imperial" doesn't seem to be any more clear, but yes...the 240 lug nuts have an inch thread.

Good luck with getting the wheels spaced out right, a 740 with Virgos looks really nice.
