134 Retro fit problem 700

About a month ago, I replaced my '91 740s' R12 A/C with a 134 kit. It was a Volvo kit from Groton.
It worked just fine for a few weeks untill this weekend when I drove to Kansas City form Omaha and back.
While on the highhway, after about 60 miles, the cold air just stopped coming thru the vents. That happened in both directions. It sounded like the fan was blowing but no cold air. After it sat overnight in KC it worked fine the next day while driving around in KC. Hope that happens tomorrow also.
Does anyone have a clue what happened ? ?
By the way... besides this recent trouble I've been very happy with the retro fit A/C.
