PV noob seat question; electric quickie 444-544 1964

About the front seats, is there a adjustment for the vertical angle of the backrest? My back is killing me if I drive that thing for more than half an hour.

and for anyone who might have the answer off the top of their head, I have electrical issues that I'm about to get into:

1. IGN on: I get neither the AMP or OIL lights on.
-in the 122 this circuit is grounded by the oil pressure sender it seems. Any other ideas?

2. any attempt to use a turn signal or any accessory other than driving lights earns me an immediate bight red AMP light, and no corresponding accessory.

Thanks, -Sean
