correct Hayden part number for trans fitting on radiator 900 1992

Hi folks,

I just purchased the Hayden part #390 as recommended in the FAQ for installing a Magnafine filter in the trans. return line from the radiator. It's the adaptor that screws onto the upper trans. fitting with a barb on the other end to allow a rubber hose to be installed easily. Unfortunately, it's much bigger than the actual port on the rad in both my cars (92 940 na and 93 945t), so I think the FAQ is in error on this one.

Does anyone know of the correct part number, or if not the technical description of the actual port so I can get an alternative fitting?
