Ignition Problem? Help! Car Show On Sunday! 120-130 1968

I think I'm having an ignition switch problem, but maybe someone can offer some input.

My headlights and brake lights work, but my turn signals are dead, along with my fuel gauge. By fiddling with the key (moving it around while the car was running) the gauges came back for a minute, but when I went to signal, they went dead again. Odd, I think. Battery? Ignition?

The history...
The wagon was recently in for it's first tune-up after 500 miles of driving (fresh B20). It had the oil changed, valves adjusted etc, and also had a master cylinder kit installed. So I'm thinking something was bumped while working on the car, but I cant find anything loose or broken (yet).

So my thoughts turn to the ignition, thinking it may be worn-out or something. None of the keys for the car seem to bring the gauges back to life. The car still starts and runs with the headlights and break lights working.

I don't have a spare ignition, so I'm thinking of trying one from a parts store. It there a generic direct replacement?

What are your thought on a diagnosis of my problem? I'm going to continue to look ever the wiring for loose connections etc. Hopefully someone can share some wisdom, as I've got the Canadian Volvo Club's annual event on Sunday.

Help. Thanks.
