looking at purchase - bumper misalignment 900 1993

I was at used car lot today looking at 940 wagon. Lot was closed so I will go back.

apart from usual paint chips, wear and tear, the only external issue I could find is that rear bumper is about 3/4 inch forward on right side, visible where fwd edge of bumper trim extends past edge of wheel well. There are no marks on bumper, (maybe replaced?) and there are no signs of body damage/misalignment/repair I could see. Paint looks original all round and bumper obviously is not new.

Could it just be a bumper impact that compressed the shock absorber on one side and didn't rebound? If so, then replacing the shock would set everything right. I have a front bumper from a 740. Is it the same shock absorber?

Should this be setting off alarm bells?

Thanks in advance.
