Rear wiper woes S90-V90

Last fall, my 2 year old son killed the rear wiper on my wife's V90 in the most efficient/adorable way possible: He walked up to it, grabbed it with both hands and tried to use the wiper arm as a set of monkey bars (or tried to use it to climb up to the bumper). Whatever his intent, he got yelled at as much as I could yell at a kid not old enough to understand any better, and the wiper arm swung easily in all 360 degrees since then. I wasn't in too big a hurry, knowing that if I fixed it right away, the same thing would happen again in a week.

Well, now he's three years old and he has a bit more respect for cars. So I took the panel off to see what was busted. here's what I found:

1. the notched in the theaded bolt/shaft that turns the wiper arm were stripped. Easy fix.
2. on the inside of the panel, the two little drive shafts (between the long one and the pivot one for the wiper arm) had been forced beyod their stops, in an unnatualr position. Easy fix.
3. the wiper motor doesn't move at all (or make any noise for that matter). when I turn on the wiper, I can hear a switch in the wheel well trying to activate the motor, but there isn't asound coming from the wiper motor in door. I assume that like everything else in the wiper assembly, it got forced 90 degrees past it intended range. I disconnected the long main shaft in case somethign was binding and preventing its abaility to turn, but tha's not the case. The spindle is frozen in place. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Or should I just go out and buy another motor?

Please help.
