Hello All,

I'm planning on installing a set of fog lights (Bosch halogens) in my 240. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction with a couple of points.

-Noticed there are bolts under the front bumper, two in the middle, one not far from each end. Rather than drilling holes, was going to try to attach the brackets to the bolts on each end. Foresee any problems with this?

-I want the set-up to be such that if the high beams are turned on, the fog lights go out (can stay on or off with or without low beams). What is the easiest way of doing this?

-Any other options instead of connecting power directly from the battery terminal with an inline fuse to relay?

-The factory dash switch with the green light has four terminals instead of three. What is the fourth for?

-The only spot I have left on the center dash switch panel is beside the a/c knob. Unfortunately, the stupid microswitch is in the way. I think that if I try to move the a/c beside the cigarette lighter, the fragile capillary tube will break. Has anyone ever pulled the microswitch off and wired in some other type of inline switch? I don't care about the 'turning the fan on automatically' function so could I just connect the wire that controls the idle speed directly to the red wire that comes from the thermostat side of the switch (and eliminate the microswitch)?

-Anyone have a .pdf/scan of the dealer or Bosch installation instructions or know how they wired them in?
