what is the easiest way to test for a 'suspect' lower control arm rear bushing? 200

this is one i have not had the pleasure to do but suspect it needs to be done on drivers side front control arm......the rear bushing covered by the mount cap.

i have read here about a pry bar. can someone give me more specific to do's about and where how to apply the pressure.

assuming it is bad i have saved quite a few posts form members how to replace it. there seems some difference of opinion on tightening the nut and cap bolts at the end of job??????

is my bentley's description the easiest way to do this job?
