just when she was running well and not leaking oil... 200 1989

Brickboard,

Man. Just yesterday, I was cruising down the road thinking that for a 1989 model, my 240 was running great. The air conditioner is even working after a few years of being out of order. All was well in the brick universe. Then I noticed a black plastic bag in the road ahead. There was a car coming toward me in the other lane so I figured, "What harm could it do?".

So I ran over the bag. Big mistake. The bag proceeded to wrap around my drive shaft near the pinion seal on my pumpkin. When I got home I smelled diff oil. Yup. You guessed it. The ()*^*(&$&!@#$! bag wrapped around my differential and ripped the seal.

To add insult to injury, I had just replaced that seal about a year ago.

Sometimes you get the bear. And sometimes the bear gets you. The bear got me today.
