Where to find an M47 200 1993

I recently bought my 4th 240 wagon (the '85 is now a parts car). I am disappointed to find that in spite of its youthful 156,000 miles the transmission has the telltale roar in all gears except 4th. On top of that, when I had it out 2 days ago the clutch fork broke! And I always thought that the 240 drive train was virtually indestructible. My '88 and '92 both have 250,000 and the transmissions are quiet.

I found an M47 in a local U-pull-it in an '87. Unfortunately the instrument panel has gone so I don't know its mileage. What is the likelihood of it being bad? It seems these trannies are scarcer than hen's teeth - I called up a junk yard and they told me the nearest M47 was in D.C. ( and I am in southern NJ).
