Hello,
Recently I purchased a new serpentine belt (along with timing belt etc.)for the 70.000 mile maintenance on my '96 960 sedan.The belt is from Continental,marked as 6pk 1642.To my biggest surprise my mechanic told me that he couldn't install it 'cause it was too short!The belt routing as follows,CCW:A/C compressor,alternator,
idler pulley ,power steering and tensioner.Somewhere I read that this is a "new" routing and requires a "revised belt".Anybody knows its length etc.?
