Bad gaskets. Is cork an OK substitute? Not really..... 140-160

I don't know of any areas on the 140 manifolds that use cardboard gaskets
except maybe where the carbs mount to the manifold, which is usually not a
trouble area. Cork will certainly NOT work between the manifold and the head.
You could probably make better gaskets for the carb-to-manifold joints out of
file folders. Don't overtighten the carb mounting bolts as you can warp the
carb flange and it is a lot easier to damage than it is to fix!
