Okay, I have searched and it seems the consensus is to dispatch the old (chrome strip style) moulding in favor of the cleaner look and style of plain black. I am in luck because that is what I prefer. But, in my case the removal is for a paint job so what is one to do about the rear window and can someone post some type of instructions about removing the old style moulding? Also if the windshield goes in with moulding as a unit is it the same for the rear and if so what is the best source for a good quality replacement.
