Limiting strap failure after only a few days? 120-130

I totally agree with George. I have purchased several pairs from Olof with absolutely no problems. Once I left my PV on a hoist for at least 4 months with no deterioration. Looking at the composition of the OEM straps, I can't see how a material failure would have been missed when you did the installation. This is a very tough composite material. Since you said the failure occurred at the top bolt hole, my opinion is that i) you did receive a bad strap, ii) somehow the square washer (35) was not tight enough or iii) the strap was not installed vertical, causing stress at the bolt hole. I'd be anxious to hear what Olof says.
