O2 sensor removal 200

I've been trying to remove the O2 sensor from the exhaust manifold in my '87 240. It won't budge despite treatment with penetrating oil and use of a longer ratchet wrench. The engine rocks quite a bit when I'm trying to loosen the sensor, and of course I am worried that I'll either break the engine mounts or snap off the sensor and then be required to remove the manifold. Does anyone have some helpful hints on getting this job done? Thanks.
