Placing an order....+ a spark plug question 200

Instead of starting 2 threads I thought it might be better to put both questions in one.

1. I'm about to place an order from FCP just wanted to run what I was ordering by you guys and see if you had had any bad experiences with anything. I'm still learning my way around what companies to buy from and who not to. Just dont want to waste $

a. Sway bar end link kit from MTC. Mine are really shot thought I would just replace the whole thing.
b. Looks like there are 2 types of ignition systems. Whats an easy way to figure out which parts I need to order (cap, rotor). 1989 240
c. Flame trap. Is all I need that $2.25 part? 51.9601 Or should I replace more since I'm sure its been years since anyone has touched the system. Plus it looks like most of the stuff in from scan tech. Not my favorite company.

2. I replaced the spark plugs this weekend. They were quite old. However when I took #1 out it did not come out as easy as the rest. On the way in it was a little harder to start and I could never get it to tighten down right. I think I got 90% or the threads in there. How bad is that? I always start them by hand to prevent damage. Can I drive on it? How would you go about fixing something like that?

Thanks for all your help. Sorry for the multi-stage long post.
