544 negative camber 444-544

After a rebuild of the front end of the 544 and replacing the majority of the bushings, i ended up with negative camber wherever the camber adjusting bushing is rotated. The upper inner bushings are facing outward WITH THE thicker part of the bushing, where the bolt goes throgh, down and the thinner to the top. Does this need to be reversed? How did i end up with only negative camber?
