Looking at the pro's and con's of painting some door pockets using IPD interior paint. 200

I found some EXCELLENT door pockets at the pick n pull over the weekend only they are tan and my interior is blue. I paid $3.00ea.

I thought about selling them on ebay and then buying the right color for my car but now I'm thinking about painting them after checking the archives on this .

Have any of you guy's had really good luck painting plastic parts using the IPD plastic prep and interior paint?

Is there another source for a less expensive comparable product?

I am willing to pay the $20.00 for the paint if they are going to look good and last a while without looking all scratched up.

Your suggestions are appreciated.
