Headlights higher power lamps? 900 1995

Hi Guys,

I have a 1995 940S with the headlights combined with the spotlights that come on with the high beam and also built in fog lights.

I am thinking of replacing the main headlamps with the same wattage but higher color temperature lamps. I have also noticed that there are 100 Watt and 130 Watt versions of the lamps fitted for the spotlights and fog lights.

Has anyone here experimented with fitting higher power lamps and did they suffer any mishaps because of using higher powered lamps.

I don't tend to drive with the fog lamps or high beam on for long periods of time.
