fair season + beat up 245 = $$$? 200 1991

Your most vulnerable spot will be the left front corner. Thats where the battery lives along with the ignition power stage, coil, ECU fuse, power distribution and on and on. If you can relocate those items, you'll stand a better change. That being said, the following picture is of a 89 244 (same electrical setup as a 91... for the most part)depicts the damage of hitting a creek bank at 55MPH, and yes, the car still ran and could be moved in the driveway under its own power, my wife had to shut off the engine after the crash.

One more thought, weld up the engine mounts or add steel brackets across the rubber isolators as the mounts have been known to fail in 10MPH impacts... causes problems with the shifter linkage... bad in combat....

Finally, kick butt and use the hind end of that ride to eliminate the competition... don't forget to fill the tires with water though, if allowed, it slows small leaks. Once your rad is empty, you'll have 3 minutes max before the ol' B230F dies. The Driver side front door mount pillar is also critical as that is where the fuse block is, since the fuses are Bug style, consider shorting across them, I've made those fuses fail by slamming the driver door too hard!

May the Swedish gods of iron be on your side!

Let us know the outcome!
