Was driving in slow moving traffic with a/c on and noticed the temp needle heading towards the red and the a/c wasn't blowing cool anymore. Shut of the a/c button and cranked the heat all the way up and the needle very slowly crept back to normal temp range after the traffic sped up a bit. When I pulled over I noticed that the cooling fan wouldn't come on when I turned the a/c on. I let the car idle about 10 minutes and the fan never came on. When I shut the car off the fan kicked in. When I restarted it the fan kicked in again and stopped after the engine cooled down. When I turned the a/c on the fan didn't come again. I'm thinking it may be a relay or temp sensor. Any thoughts what to check? It's cooking hot in ATL right now.
Thanks.
