I'm looking to have new webbing put on my non-retractable original belts, has anyone had this done? I'd like to match the original webbing as closely as possible. I wonder if the webbing designed for older American cars might be too thin to allow the Volvo adjustment system to work correctly (slippage). Possibly something designed for the VW Beetle? Any ideas?

No, I don't want a modern retractable belt instead...I hate em'!!
