IPD Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines vs ATE OEM Lines. 200

I'm going to replace the flexible brake hoses on my 81 242. There are two that feed each front caliper, and two more at the back axle. My question is whether to use ATE OEM lines or buy the IPD kit of stainess steel braided brake lines. What differences will there be if I go to the IPD hoses? Any disadvantages? The price I was quoted for ATE puts them pretty close to the IPD kit. Any ideas, comments, feedback, etc., would really be appreciated before I place my order. What changes can I expect in braking?
