motor mounts 140-160 1971

First of all, pull the radiator because when you loosen the engine mount nuts and raise the engine, the cooling fan will hit the upper portion of the radiator and plastic shroud. You need to get the engine high enough so you can remove the old mounts and install the new ones.

One more thing, use 160 mounts instead. They fit right up and are more substantial than the 140 mounts. Buy a third one and replace the nasty one at the rear of the transmission, it bolts up as well.

Good Luck!
