Looking at a 73 P1800ES: What are common problem areas? 1800

So a 73 P1800ES has come up for sale locally here. I've had these irrational thoughts about buying it (I already have a 65 220 and an 85 245 turbo, what is wrong with me?) - from the outside and underside there is very little rust so the body looks solid.

I have been helped by the 120 forum in the restoration of my 65 wagon, and I am quasi-wrench literate, so I thought I would ask the 1800 forum for help.

I know body rust is a common problem - any specific areas I should look at?

I am not sure about the FI system, is it a pretty bulletproof system or can it be problematic? What kind of fuel economy should I expect if the system is operating well?

I'll be taking it out for a test drive on Monday....maybe I'll come to my senses over the weekend.

Thanks all.

Waggin
