mileage increase 700 1988

The N/A injectors will not work with the turbo ECU, probably because of the pulse difference to optimize flow with the higher volume turbo injectors. I have swapped injectors from the 86 N/A Bosch system with the 93 Rex/Regina and had no problems with them. There is a difference in the wire color coding from the 86 to the 88 and quite a few safety sensors on the turbo that are not present on the N/A.

Since the volume of fuel is regulated by the AMM it really should not make any difference which injector is in the engine (as long as the proper electronics are present).

Regards,
