Update 200

Just to keep the board up to date -

Spoke with a friend who had an older Volvo 245 which he sold on some years back. Ends up he had a recent-ish Sony CDX M600 sitting in his garage that he'd pulled when he updated his stereo prior to selling the car. Even still had the unused original harness and some of the mount accessories hanging around.

Black and blank when powered off - so hopefully whomever is wandering the neighborhood grabbing things won't be tempted by this one. Still need to get the trim pieces and a DIN front carrier thing - but the price was right (a growler or two of beer) and it meets my requirements - not flashy and aux in.

Weird, though - the thief grabbed my broken box of tools out of the back - like this but more mechanically focused -

- even though it was missing one of the panels and generally beat to heck. Annoying, but a good excuse to upgrade my spanners.

The same thief (or different?) also grabbed a cheap, plastic patio table off of a 2nd story deck in the building after climbing over a couple of set of railings...

Pretty soon, cats are going to be living with dogs - my neighborhood has gone to hell.
