Just replaced the front rotors & pads. Went with Brembo rotors and Akebono Pro-Act pads based on user reviews on another board. Shortly after initial break in started to feel slight shudder. Then pulsation and shimmy in steering wheel while applying brakes. Ran over to Harbor Freight and picked up a dial indicator. Drivers side had .002-.003. Reindexed the rotor and best I could get was .001. Same with passenger side .001. Looking at the marks on the rotor I assumed that the pads/rotors weren't fully bedded in. Road tested the car and did some moderate to heavy braking from 50mph-10mph. Never came to a full stop. The pulsation lessened. Today while driving the pulsation can be felt again mainly after the brakes heat up. Please look at the pics and let me know what you think could be the problem. The wheels have been properly torqued to 65lbs.
Sidenote: Installed the same rotor/pad combination on my 00' Honda Odyssey and have the same issue. Haven't had the time to hook up the dial indicator yet.
Thanks for your feedback.
