#2 cylinder not firing 73 164 140-160 1973

I've posted this before and did what was recommended finally, but to no avail. So here goes again. #2cylinder still missing. Whats been done thus far: New fuel pump and filter, put in new injecter, changed distributor as shaft was loose, switched wires around on distributor all good and getting spark, replaced cap & rotor, checked valves--all have proper clearance--no flat lobes, front and rear 3 injectors make noise, no vacuum leaks.
I'm thinking at this point that I should trace the injecter wire back from #2 to see if there is a break in it. I have no tools to check to see if it is getting a signal from the ecu. Any further things I might check?
Thanks in advance
John
