Intermitent Problem 200 1983

My 83 244GL with B23F engine is lossing power after driving it for 30-60 minutes. Sometimes it dies but it will restart. When it losses power, it will only go 30-40 MPH up hills and only 45-50 on the flat. After it cools off, it will restart and run fine. It has lost power twice and I've limped home. Both times the outside temp was 100F or higher. Now it's in the 90's and the problem hasn't reoccured. I'm thinking it is straved for fuel due to faulty fuel pump relay, system relay, ECU, or air mass meter. Any other ideas on where to start?
