exchanged compressor/add low pressure fill port? 200 1989

I have an 89 244 that was missing its ac compressor when I acquired it. PO had removed it - don't know reason - and had one of the alternator belts connected to the ps pump. I grabbed a replacement compressor from the pick n pull - don't remember the year of the donor - and installed it so I could get the belts routed back properly. I decided to try getting the a/c running the other day and realized that the compressor I installed does not have the service ports on the back - is there anywhere in the system I could inexpensively add a low pressure service port? I've been using enviro-safe r12 replacement in my 740 over five years without any problem so I'm planning on using it in this system too - if I can come up with a way to get it in!

Thanks!
Jim
